In business we have inputs, systems, and outputs.

The output we all want (most of the time) is money.

Now, here’s a cold hard truth…

You probably have (at least once) been extremely emotional about why your business isn’t making as much money as you want it to.

In my early days this is what I used to think:

“Why isn’t this working”

“I’ve been doing this for so long, why am I not rich”

“Why am I always so unlucky

I would simply spend a lot of time stressing out and being emotional.

But the thing is, business has nothing to do with luck, chance, or anything of the sort.

So here, I’m going to tell you how to pretty much guarantee your success, as well as the amount of money you want to make.

In order for us to “guarantee” our success and the amount of money we want to make

We have to think about logical outcomes and how business works.

Here are the 3 core factors that drive businesses

We can see our business operates in a chain

In order for one chain to function, it must be fueled by the output of the previous chain.

By looking at the 3 core chains of a business, we understand that the very first chain that even makes the entire system function is acquisition.

The input of acquisition is attention, the output is a booked appointment.

That means if we don’t have attention the entire system flops.

We can take this to the extreme by asking:

If no one knows us, will we make any money?

The clear answer is no, because if they don’t know us they can’t pay us.

So if the very first chain “acquisition” isn’t getting the required inputs of “attention”

Then no shit we won’t make money.

So this means that logically, step 1 is getting people to know we exist.

Now, what do we do to increase how many people know about us?

We get traffic. (marketing).

There are 3 ways to do this:

  1. Reach out to people who don’t know us

  2. Make content

  3. Run ads

From these three methods of acquiring attention, we simply need to simplify them down to the number activities we need to do to get our desired result

a.k.a inputs required

Ex: 

  • 10 posts gets us 1 client

  • 2,000 cold emails gets us 1 client

  • $500 spent on ads gets us a client worth $3k

There are 3 questions I need you to answer. One for each method of acquiring attention.

Outreach

How many emails do I need to send to get a client?

Content

How many posts do i need to make to get a client?

Paid ads

How many dollars do i need to spend to get a client?

After figuring out these numbers…

You then do the exact amount that is required to get as many of outputs that you would like.

Nothing more. Nothing less.

This is simply how to achieve success. No emotions, feelings, or “luck” required.
