Today we’re going to talk about the key hires you need to make to get yourself out of the day to day operations in your business

The first department we’ll talk about is

Acquisition Department

The department of acquisition includes both your sales department and marketing departments.

Sales

To outsource sales, you will first need to hire closers.

After you hire closers you will now be the person who manages and trains your closers.

To outsource that you need a Sales director.

Marketing

The first thing you want to outsource here is who is in charge of your paid ads that you are running to acquire clients, or who is setting up the cold acquisition infrastructure.

You will hire a media buying team to outsource this.

However, you will still be the person in charge of managing and training this team. To outsource this, you will need a Marketing Director

Head of Acquisition

Your goal is to just be managing your Marketing Director and Sales Director.

To outsource the management of these two, you want to hire a Head of Acquisition.

Operations Department

There are 4 hires you need to make for operations

Keep in mind this will also depend on whether you run a service based business or a product based business.

  1. Information Techology (IT)

    This person automates and streamlines processes. Especially if you need someone to manage inventory, keep track of new clients coming in, handling financial transactions, Fixing your facebook ad account when it gets banned, etc…

    All the small tech stuff that tends to be annoying.

  2. Human Resources

    This person manages your employees and does tasks such as:

    Recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and firing employees

  3. Finance

    This person keeps track of your expenses and makes sure you don’t have any “leaky buckets” causing you to lose profits.

  4. Legal

    Makes sure you don’t go to jail lol.

Head of Operations

The person who will manage all these people is your head of operations.

Customer Delivery

Here are the people you need to manage your service delivery for your customers

  1. Fulfillment

    This person is actively in charge of fulfilling and delivering what your customers have paid for.

  2. Product

    This person is actively in charge of taking feedback from your customers (pros & cons) in order to improve your product or service and make it better

  3. Client Success Manager 

    This person is actively in charge of creating and mapping out the journey your clients take in order to reach their desired state.

    He/she will also ensure each client is on track to reach their goals.

    They will also communicate with clients daily/weekly to ensure client relationships are in good standing.

  4. Onboarding

    This person will take the onboarding/clarity calls with your clients.

    This is the first call with a new client after they have just paid you.

    They will ensure they have access to any programs, systems, or communication channels that are necessary and provide them with needed info/implementation to begin your service

Remember that owning a business is hard. But the luxury you get of being a “BUSINESS OWNER” is that you actually get to OWN the business.

So take advantage of it and start delegating shit!
