I Simplified Life
Lately i’ve been thinking a lot of about how simple life truly is.
For example, cliche sayings like:
“Your competition is the man in the mirror”
Or even
”No pain, no gain.”
Often represent life to the fullest degree.
The crazy thing is we hear these cliche sayings and think, “ahh, more bullshit”
…At least that’s what I think.
But the truth is these dumb, simple cliche’s speak more truth into life than you can imagine.
Life is extremely simple when you think about it.
“No pain no gain” has been said so many times that we’re numb to the words.
But the truth is the only way to achieve in life (gain) is to fail (pain).
It’s literally the only way.
Without bad times, there is no good times and the only reason you will ever be able to truly enjoy the good times is by going through the bad.
Your business can’t grow to insane heights unless you learn the shitty lessons and fuck up a few times.
Your relationship will always stay the same unless you have those hard conversations
Your muscles will not grow unless they are torn and broken first in the gym.
There’s beauty in the struggle
“Your competition is the man in the mirror”
Heard it so many times that it means nothing,
but who else are you competing with in life?
No one can compete with you when you’re in your own lane.
The only thing that will cause you to fail is your inability to defeat the inner voice in your head and fall victim to temptations and distractions.
It’s simple.
And the more and more i thought, I realized life is just so damn simple.
We just have to do the simple shit and we will inevitably win.
This translates to business as well.
People know that, “if more people knew about them, they would make more money”
Yet they don’t spend their entire day trying to get more attention.
Side note:
You need to be more selfish.
Now, I don’t say this to come off as a self help guru or some sort of red pill podcast guy.
But the truth is this is your life.
You don’t need to hang out all the time.
You don’t need validation from women.
You don’t need to keep scrolling and keep chasing pleasure.
These things come and go.
You live with yourself forever.
You need to focus on yourself.
When things are tough life will leave you to deal with it on your own.
No one’s going to do anything for you.
The crazy thing is most of the time we all know exactly what we should be doing to succeed.
We just need to do it.
